Part time Senior HR Generalist required for company based in JHB North (working 2 days per week).
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Minimum 10 Years Experience In An HR Generalist Role
- Willing to work part time (2 days per week)
Duties:
Recruitment
- Recruitment of all staff
- Liaising with employment agencies
- Sourcing staff
- Screening/ evaluation of CV together with manager
- Reference checks, credit and criminal checks
- Obtaining authorization from CEO
- Filling in form with relevant document for Payroll, obtaining signature from CEO
- Conduct induction programme
Employee Relations
- Providing advice to line managers on HR policies and procedures
- Attending meetings to discuss and assist with misconduct
- Providing minutes of meetings
Talent Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal documents and consolidate performance ratings
- Drive succession planning
Training and Development
- Conduct training needs and skill gap analysis
- Put in place skills plan
- Assist with reporting, analysis and submission of workplace skills plan
- Assist with the compilation of employment equity reports
- Hold employment equity committee meetings
- Attend to Labour Dept inspections.
HR Administration
- Manage new employee onboarding process
- Manage terminations and exit interviews
- Provide advice and information to management and employees on Labour Act Law
- Advise management on employees' career development
- Draft letters to send communication with staff
- Updating HR policies and procedures
- Liaising with CEO on any changes to Payroll
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll report and documents
- Approving of leave on Sage ESS System
- Managing the ESS system (uploading new employees and applying for leave on their behalf) and related queries from staff
- Manage Time and Attendance on Uniclox System
- Managing traffic fines
- Health and Safety procedure and protocols in compliance with Workmens Compensation
- Create committee and attend to training for First Aid
Terminations
- Outboarding / exit survey
- Checking returned company equipment
- Hearings - advise on hearing and providing relevant documentation
- Issue warnings, draft changes
- Consult with consultants who will chair the meeting
- Preparation for hearing and attending meeting
- Manage the termination process with employee e.g. UIF forms
