Xpert Resourcing has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry to facilitate their ever-growing operation.
Our client, who are a global manufacturing company are looking to for a Maintenance Planner and Stores Coordinator to join their busy factory on a permanent basis near Sawston.
Duties:
- Develop a maintenance strategy that guarantees the efficient completion of all tasks.
- Make sure the system precisely predicts and creates work orders within feasible timeframes.
- Assist with machine history to identify key areas for investigation.
- Manage the day-to-day stock
- Ensure pre-kitting is carried out for all major planned maintenance tasks, and that all parts required are available.
- Proactively seek to lower the yearly expenses on spare parts by exploring alternative suppliers and negotiating for price discounts.
Skills Required:
- Computer literacy and high proficiency in major IT tools including Maintenance Management systems (e.g. SAP, MS Office).
- Exposure to a maintenance environment or equivalent in the chemical sector, pharmaceutical, biochemical is advantageous.
- Proven track record of manufacturing/maintenance planning.
Working Hours/Pay:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday Friday, hours to be discussed, depending on availability
