REQUIREMENTS: - Grade 12
- 10 years of proven experience in Civil and Commercial litigation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to foreclosure law is preferred
DUTIES: - Typing, formatting and collating of notices and pleadings
- Incorporating amendments to documents and verifying that amendments have been effected correctly
- Preparing resource, counsel and client files
- Strong administration and organizational skills in order to manage the directors diary
- General office and personal administration
- Preparing pre-bills and billing memos (sending same to clients)
- Managing debtors with the accounts department
- FICA administration: following up to ensure the FICA requirements are complete
- Liaise with clients, counsel, presiding officers, experts and other service providers when instructed to do so by Lawyers
- Assisting in preparation of tender submissions and presentations
- Flight and accommodation arrangements for the Director
