Our client, a technical expert with over 60 years in the manufacture and supply of high quality commercial and industrial catering equipment, is looking for an External Sales Representative to join their team.
Requirements
Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in a sales position.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Syspro knowledge would be an advantage.
- Experience in managing stakeholders.
- Must have own transport and a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of the catering equipment would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Generating leads by building relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Enhancing customer experience.
- Meet internal sales targets as agreed upon.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and cold calling sales.
- Understand and manage client expectations.
- Manage quote submissions and order processing.
- Ensure timely delivery of equipment.
- Provide outstanding service to consumers both before and after the sale.
- Manage orders until payment is completed.
- Maintain a customer database.
- Produce weekly/monthly sales reports vs targets.
- Process returns and credit notes in accordance with established procedures.
- Refer all client complaints received telephonically to the appropriate manager.
- Ensure that shipment dates are updated periodically.
