Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development
- Engaging new enterprise customers and finding new business opportunities.
- Developing new solution packages and business models with eco partners.
- Providing consultative sales and value-based selling with an understanding of customer needs.
- Collaborating with HQ, RHQ, and other subsidiaries as virtual teams.
- Developing and implementing the ID product strategy and business plans.
- Ensuring alignment with overall business strategy to support company objectives.
- Identifying market opportunities and defining the vision.
- Strategizing around product promotion based on customer needs and market trends.
- Managing the product life cycle, including launch plans and sustaining existing products.
- Building pipeline in line with sales strategy.
In-Depth Product / Brand Knowledge
- Growth of ID products market share.
- Communicating stock status to Product Managers.
- Developing promotional campaigns aligned with specific channels and products.
- Conducting market share knowledge and customer needs analysis to increase revenue.
Accurate Forecasting
- Forecasting by channel.
- Ensuring adequate stock levels to avoid long-term inventory issues.
Budget Controls
- Ensuring return on investment and brand sustainability.
- Meeting income targets for accounts.
- Solving problems and managing risks to achieve targets.
- Analyzing performance against budget.
Market Share
- Understanding buying potential by channel.
- Implementing incentive programs.
- Conducting market surveys.
Strong Customer Relationships
- Managing relationships with customers effectively.
- Building relationships with key account executives and retailers.
- Ensuring customer needs are established and reviewed.
- Providing solutions to management when challenges arise.
- Assisting with contractual agreements.
- Developing unique business growth strategies with customers.
Reports
- Preparing presentations, proposals, and plans as necessary.
- Providing progress reports on forecast accuracy and inventory plans.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Required Experience
- LFD signage and LED product knowledge.
- 3-5 years of sales experience.
- Key accounts sales and marketing experience.
- Industry experience in IT/ID products sales.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Intermediate).
- Possession of a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to meet deadlines and set goals.
- Persistence and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to function under pressure.
- Strong administration and creative skills.
- Knowledge of operator/distributor and retail functions.
- Understanding of buying behavior in the signage and LED market.
- Negotiation skills for sales promotions and displays.
- Commitment to honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
