Sales Operations Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales operation of the company in a geographical area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing quality leadership for the internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding the company’s values: inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements, and inspiring others.
- Establishing an environment and foundation for future sales growth.
- Selling value and solutions to the customers.
- Leading top-to-top meetings with key customers to ensure strong relationships and remove business obstacles, aligning with long-term company direction.
- Achieving monthly and annual set budgets.
- Showing initiative in analysing and improving business processes.
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
- Developing sales strategies and setting targets.
- Compiling and analysing sales figures.
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
- Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service.
- Establishing, maintaining, and expanding your customer base.
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your area.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Must have matric and tertiary qualification.
- Sales experience in selling forklifts.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Computer literacy essential; Auto Line/Advantage experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of forklifts and selling forklifts within an assigned sales territory.
- Proven oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Good business sense.
