Internal Sales Representative
Currently seeking an Internal Sales Representative for a leading High-Quality Equipment Supplier for Engineering, Welding and Mining companies in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answering Telephones – Queries and orders
- Telephonic Customer support
- Counter Sales/Service – sales and queries
- Finance: Payments from clients, invoicing (Kerridge), credit notes
- Quotation to clients and follow up on quotations
- Telesales – existing customer bi-weekly follow-up and new clients, identifying and pursuing opportunities in the market, promoting the Company’s products to clients
- Assist Sales reps with Test Certificates
- General Admin Function
- Cash Sales and daily breakdown of cash sales – Till cash up
- Confirming payments and assisting debtors with cash accounts and debtors accounts
- Purchasing – Stock products and consumables
- Purchase orders
- Inter branch transfers
- Assisting debtors with accounts and queries
- Following up on back orders for customers
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Tertiary Qualification: Will be advantageous
- Experience: Minimum 5 years
- Skilled in coordinating, telesales, admin
- Trustworthy
- Candidate must be very organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Ability to perform duties with deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision
- Candidate must be friendly, personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with clients, co-workers and the general public
- Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information
