The primary purpose of this role is to provide Technical Sales Support for Aftermarket to customers in the region through site visits.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- A tertiary qualification in sales or a trade would be highly advantageous
Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience in a technical sales capacity
- Virtual / Video conferencing etiquette
- Intermediate MS Office and CRM
Sales Management Responsibilities:
- Analyze customers' spend versus number of machines in operation in the region.
- Determine which customer spends are to third-party suppliers and the reasons for third-party spend.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer spend.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations.
- Establish reasons for lost quotations and communicate these to the manager, capturing them on ERP.
- Actively contribute to an increase in quotation conversion rates.
- Be proactive by continuously developing the sales funnel to achieve sales targets.
