TalentSync is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Financial Clerk. As a Financial Clerk, you will provide support to our finance department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining the financial stability of our company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents
- Assist with reconciling financial statements and accounts
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Process payments and maintain accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements
- Run financial software programs and assist with financial analysis
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department
- Adhere to financial policies and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in accounting or finance are preferred
- Prior experience in a financial or accounting role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using financial software and computer programs
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
