Our prominent client, based in Coega, Port Elizabeth, is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Financial Manager to join their team.
A CA(SA) qualification and 2-5 years post articles commercial work experience secures.

Requirements:
- Must be qualified as a CA(SA).
- Experience: 2-5 years post articles.
- Must have commercial experience.
- Own transport.
- Must be prepared to work overtime when required.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Ensure that all data input is performed correctly and accurately.
- Timeous processing of all transactions.
- Ensure compliance to accounting standards (IFRS).
- Preparation of monthly management Accounts.
- Timeous completion of financial and management reports.
- Assist with drafting of company annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Cash Flow Management.
- Complete year-end schedules for company auditors.
- Work closely with and assist auditors.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Maintain complete, accurate and up to date files of working papers to support the figures recorded in the monthly management and year-end accounts.
- Assist with Budget preparation.
- Provide support to the Financial Manager.
- Develop and sustain good working relationships within the accounting function and all other relevant departments / external stakeholders.
- Be available to provide assistance to subordinates regarding the finances, systems and procedures of the organization.
