Main Accountabilities Supervision of warehouse operations to ensure that orders are packaged, loaded and dispatched safely, timely and efficiently, proper records are maintained Productivity and safety through effective communication with employees Ensure receiving, dispatch & other relevant documentation requirements are met.
Work and quality objectives are met in a timely and effective manner Inventory levels are maintained at appropriate levels
Inventory polices like FIFO are maintained Compliance with legal requirements (e.g. transport of dangerous goods) Carry out
Anticipate staff needs, schedules personnel and assigns work Ensure vehicle licensing up to date at all times Preparation for company’s stock taking Fleet maintenance & booking of services Support 1 Housekeeping Continuous improvement activities Reporting Function: Storeman Drivers Qualification: Logistics & warehousing experience Interfaces: Production SCM Sales
