The National Sales Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets;
- Oversee regional sales and National key accounts;
- Establish productive and professional relationships with assigned key customer accounts;
- Identify sales opportunities and needs of key customers;
- Negotiate and implement key customer strategies;
- Monitor and analyse sales performance and forecasts, monthly, quarterly and annually;
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities;
- Proactively identify changes in market trends and update sales team accordingly;
- Liaise and work closely with the Marketing team to maximise opportunities and ensure effective product development and brand consistency.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a National sales manager;
- Significant experience in managing a high performance sales team;
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP (would be an advantage) and Microsoft Office Suite;
- An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics;
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills;
- Strong communication and team management skills;
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude;
- Availability to travel locally and abroad as needed;
- BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field;
- Experience: Management: 10 years (Required); Sales: 10 years (Required).
