Our client is seeking a National Sales Manager to join their vibrant team.
Requirement: - Applicant must have sufficient sales/sales management experience, including managing a sales team.
- Grade 12.
- Bachelor’s degree/equivalent to an NQF Level 7 (specialist, management or technical). - preferred
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
- Valid driver’s license.
- The job requires handling money and authorisation to dispense and deposit company funds and is subject to fraud and credit checks.
Responsibilities: - Plans for and implements actions required to achieve and exceed the budgeted revenue targets of the company whilst controlling the cost of sales expenses.
- Build new relationships and monitor the health of existing ones to ensure the company maximises the benefits of these relationships.
- Deploying effective sales methods, procedures and processes to ensure the successful and sustainable development of the business and utilising an innovative approach to enhance these methods when required.
- Fulfills all required human resource functions and assumed responsibility for personal development.
- Verbal/written warnings are required when necessary
- The job involves working long hours per the applicable legislation, as the sales function requires.
- You will need to perform duties outside of regular business hours if you need to.
- You will be required to travel for sales business trips.
Salary: Market-related.
