The objective is to appoint a professional r egistered SACPCMP Health and Safety Agent (CHSA) with a minimum of 7 - 8 years construction health and safety experience to act as the Employers Representative and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations for our clients organisation and on project level. The Construction Health and Safety Agent should have in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations at all levels and be able to develop, organize, implement, and oversee the health and safety requirements of a construction project from start to finish. Additionally, a Construction Health and Safety Agent should be able to mentor, train, and guide Construction Health and Safety Managers and Officers.
The Occupational Health and Safety Agent should have the following qualifications:
- National Diploma in Safety Management
- B-Tech in Safety Management
- B.Com Operational Risk Management
- MSc in Construction Health and Safety Management
Or alternatively a combination of the following qualifications:
- National Diploma (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
- BSc / B-Tech (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
- Honours (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
- MSc (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
