A client of ours within the retail software sector is looking for a dynamic and results-driven software Business Development representative to join our team.
As a software Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Candidate Requirements: - 2 to 5 years experience in sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer Literate
- Reside in or around the Pretoria / Jhb area
- Own Transport and a valid driver’s license
- Well-groomed and energetic
- Available to start as soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and outreach
- Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to clients using effective sales techniques
- Conduct product/service demonstrations to showcase key features and benefits
- Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets
- Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and optimize overall sales performance
- Market Research
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Qualifications: - Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role
- Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) sales is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
- Qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
