Hays are working on an exciting opportunity in Wednesdbury for an Interim HR Manager. This is a stand alone position, to join a fast-growing, vibrant and forward-thinking manufacturing company based in the Wednesbury area. Your new role
As a HR Manager your role would involve:
- Provide guidance and advice to all employees on policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with employment law changes and review, develop and update policies and procedures regularly.
- Manage the recruitment process along with individual managers from selection through to onboarding.
- Attend the monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings and ensure any actions are completed and communicated.
- Working with the Senior Leadership Team to strategically determine areas of improvement.
- Develop and promote wellbeing initiatives.
- Support managers through disciplinaries, grievances, sickness and performance issues.
- Producing monthly board information packs and owning the annual employee engagement survey.
- Completing all administration duties
- Supporting managers through the PDP process and developing documents where required.
- Organising and promoting company events and initiatives through the business.
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
- 3 years experience as a HR generalist.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and positive attitude
- The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Approachable and empathic
