The purpose of this role will be to take responsibility for the full accounting function.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop financial well-being of business by providing full spectrum of financial services
- Review and interpret monthly management accounts, and further recommendations
- Review and sign off on journals
- Assessment and implementation of internal controls
- Prepare reconciliations
- Review GL reconciliations
- Manage banking functions
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Consolidation of budget templates
- Assist with the implementation of new systems
Education:
- Completed BCom Finance or Accounting Degree
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Completed SAIPA articles essential
- 1 to 2 years post-articles experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong business partnering and reporting skills
- Business and financial acumen
- Meticulous attention to detail
