Cost and Management Accountant to join their finance team on a
permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in
optimizing financial performance through accurate cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring efficient cost management within the manufacturing environment. Duties: - Analyze and report on manufacturing costs and trends to enhance cost efficiency.
- Develop budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning and strategy.
- Maintain accurate product cost records to support pricing and profitability.
- Create monthly reports on financial metrics and performance.
- Compare actual costs to budgets, explain discrepancies, and recommend actions.
- Oversee inventory levels and valuations to ensure accurate records and control.
- Use SAP for accurate financial reporting and cost tracking.
- Enhance financial processes and cost management efficiency.
- Align financial goals with production, procurement, and sales teams.
Qualifications & skills: - BCom in Accounting, BTech Cost and Management Accounting, or CIMA qualification.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a cost and management accounting role.
- Experience in SAP is essential.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of costing principles, budgeting, and variance analysis.
