The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients in the Asia region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales or marketing, excellent proficiency in English and Mandarin, and a keen understanding of the freight forwarding industry would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the Asia region.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Sales and Business Development: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic plans to expand the customer base.
Market Analysis: - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to enhance service offerings.
Cross-functional Collaboration: - Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Participate in regular meetings with the operations and logistics teams to align on client needs.
Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of a National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
- A bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field would be advantageous.
- At least two to three years of experience in sales or marketing.
- Exposure to the freight forwarding industry is advantageous.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
