Our client is a property development company that is looking to grow their team by welcoming a Commercial Manager . As the commercial manager, you will play a pivotal role in stewarding the landholding , overseeing the land conversion process to ensure a pipeline of saleable real estate for sustainable cash generation, managing the servicing and sale of proclaimed township land , as well as facilitating the disposal of bulk agricultural land that has development potential .
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a continuous pipeline of saleable stock to achieve the business’ strategy, which would require a strategic approach to sales and marketing , deal structuring , and management of the development team . You will manage the end-to-end land conversion process , ensuring compliance with town planning and environmental regulations . In addition to collaborating with and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, you will be expected to work closely with the development and project managers to optimise land use and enhance property value . You will be required to identify land development opportunities , as well as represent the company’s interests in joint ventures.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Proven experience in a management role
- Strong property/ land sales background
- Fully proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel)
- Strong understanding of property market dynamics
- Sound understanding of finance and accounting
- Must be based in Mbombela, Mpumalanga
