An organization in the transportation sector is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Administrative Debtors Controller. In this role, you will offer crucial administrative support to the Debtor's department, focusing on achieving team collection goals and managing risk. Your primary tasks will involve actively contacting debtors about their overdue accounts, negotiating repayment terms, and setting up payment plans. You will also conduct investigations and work with various branches, customer care, and the bank to resolve issues promptly. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with debtors to avoid future problems is key. Adhering to QMS and ISO standards consistently is also required.
This role will allow you to gain valuable experience in financial management and debt collection to build a strong foundation for future roles in finance, administration, or management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Autoline is preferable.
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license.
