Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company, is currently seeking a SHEQ Superintendent to join their team in the North-West region. As a SHEQ Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality aspects of the mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ management systems and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions
- Provide training and guidance to employees on SHEQ matters
- Prepare reports and documentation related to SHEQ performance
- Collaborate with different departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree/National Diploma in Safety Management
- 5 years' experience in the mining industry
- Experience in metals would be advantageous
- Valid driver's license
