A leading freight and logistics company that is a market leader in the space is recruiting for a National Sales Director. My client has a long history of growth and stability with a massive international footprint.
Details of Company & Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing market share by acquiring new clients in the industry. The role will also involve maintaining good relationships with existing clients and cross-selling to these clients. As this is a senior role reporting to the CEO, the incumbent will be expected to provide strategic direction and analysis on current market trends and identify new avenues and industries to grow revenue.
The incumbent will oversee the national sales team and will be expected to roll out new policies and be accountable for managing profit and loss statements.
Education:
A Sales or Business related degree.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 10 years new business development experience.
- At least five years in a senior sales management role.
- Freight and logistics industry exposure.
