Duties and Responsibilities: The desired candidate will be required to perform the following which may not be limited to:
- Identify and quantify marketing opportunities in categories in which we operate
- Help to develop fantastic marketing mixes to maximise these opportunities
- Be responsible for implementing and executing the marketing mix to store-level
- Monitor and assess the commercial success of the mix in the marketplace
- Look for gaps in the market to exploit and grow
- Analyse and interpret data to provide recommendations for brand development
- Work with Research and development team to convert innovation ideas into products
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects within assigned timelines and budgets
- Work closely with the Design team on artwork execution
- Put together advertising and creative briefs
- Copywriting for marketing literature
- Closely working with the digital team on campaigns and projects
Requirements: - Matric with pass in Maths
- Preferred Marketing Degree or Honours degree (including Finance/Business Science grads) or IMM Diploma
- 1-2 years of work experience is preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy, comfortable working with numbers and creative artwork
- Computer and Excel skills
- Great team working skills
- The ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken word)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Own reliable transport
