Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Proposals Enhancement:
Enhance and develop credit proposals for approval, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for asset finance transactions - Credit Risk Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments, including understanding the assets being financed. - Credit Facility Management:
Maintain and manage approved credit facilities, ensuring effective communication with external funders and clients - Financial and Credit Record Analysis:
Perform detailed credit record reviews and financial analysis to assess the creditworthiness of companies and clients - Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, acting as a liaison between clients, funders, and internal departments - Ad-Hoc Projects:
Assist with additional projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the credit function - Teamwork and Self-Management:
Collaborate with the team, while also being able to work independently to manage tasks and responsibilities efficiently
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Strong understanding of credit risk and mitigation strategies .
- Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness
- Analytical skills to evaluate financial statements and credit data
- Familiarity with business technologies and their application in financial processes
- Proficient in MS Office
- Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- People management and leadership abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Comprehensive knowledge of company policies , procedures, and industry-specific requirements
- Understanding of the companys credit policy and funder requirements
