CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
This position is responsible for product, market and retail operations and development of the University Shop as a self-sustaining institutional brand development unit.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Market Research and Stakeholder Engagement as related to University branded products environment.
- Product Development of branded items and unique institutional offerings.
- Efficient management of procurement processes and stock.
- Development and management of efficient retail outlets (Main shop and sites) and platforms.
- Marketing and communication management of the Shop and its products and services.
- Efficient human resources, financial and general management of the University Shop, outlets and platforms.

Requirements
- A three year post matric / tertiary qualification (M+3).
- A 3-5 years retail management experience involving all the relevant functional areas.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Reliable own transport essential.
