Sales / Account Manager
Our client in an insights lead BTL marketing agency who pride themselves on creating world class shopping experiences for world class brands, has an amazing opportunity for a hands-on, customer-centric, target-driven Sales / Account Manager . This role will be reporting into a Senior Account Manager and assisting with fostering relationships and growing an existing portfolio of accounts.
The successful candidate must be able to sell and will come with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building lasting relationships. This candidate must understand complex selling in the B2B environment and is agile in adapting to the many obstacles that could stall a deal and find solutions around that. They must be customer-focused and deadline-driven to achieve set targets.
Key accountabilities:
- Excellence in account management and customer service
- Opportunity identification
- Stakeholder management
- Creating and managing briefs from concept to completion
- Performance Reporting (commercial)
- Achievement of sales target, managing net revenue and results
- Collaborate and work effectively cross-functionally on each project to deliver the best outcome
- Take ownership of assigned accounts/channels and show sales growth in those accounts
Requirements
- B.Comm/Business Science degree or any related Tertiary Business qualification in Sales & Marketing
- 3-5 yrs selling experience B2B in an Account Management and business development role managing blue chip accounts
- Experience in team dynamics (has worked as part of team environment / cross-functional teams)
- Understanding of and ability to do market research (landscape, clients, competitors)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Comfortable presenting to senior management
- Highly competent in MS Office / G Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Experience in working with CRM systems
- Understanding the world of BTL agency and (preferably) in-store / Point of Sale / display selling (advantageous)
- Analytical, organised and comfortable with managing tasks and process adherence
- Strong with administration within the sales process and customer management
- A firm understanding of commerce

Salary: R360 000 - R480 000 annual (TCTC) Excludes incentives/Commission
