Edward Snell & Co. are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team in the
KZN
Region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage brand performance by channel and outlet Ensure that volume is a key driver of all activities Identify availability and volume opportunities Achieve availability, volume and regional market share targets Management and development of the Informal Market team Ensure the Informal Market team are living our core values, and that they are aware of the company’s strategic priorities and how they are contributing to achieving them Ensure correct implementation of national promotions Design and implement innovative regional promotions Ensure adherence to ES&Co promotional standards Manage return on investment of promotions Ensure that all discounts offered fall within the parameters of the quality discount and strategic schedule Communicate all credit risks and irregularities in trade to the regional General Manager Compile weekly and monthly reports Ensure effective interaction with the telesales team
QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Sales and Marketing/ Business or equivalent is advantageous At least six years in an FMCG sales role (liquor spirits an advantage) At least two years in a Sales Management role Must have a soundtrack record within the sales industry

Demonstrated ability to professionally develop, coach and motivate teams Focused goal driven individual Must have excellent communication skills Ability to build positive working relationships Must be assertive Must have a good track record in sales Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Relevant experience in the informal market environment Must be self-motivated and results driven
