National Sales Manager – Isando
My client is seeking to employ a National Sales Manager to join their company based in Isando.
Duties Include
- The National Sales Manager is a key role which is responsible to recruit, retain, motivate and lead an effective Sales team to meet the annual sales budget, and customer satisfaction levels as determined by the organisation.
- Grow the company's footprint and market share within South Africa, as well as Sub-Sahara Africa.
- Assist management in developing growth strategy, to include customer targeting strategies.
- Develop growth and retention strategies for targeted industries, customers and products.
- Understand targeted industries, as well as customers' buying processes, operating environment and material handling needs.
- Strategic customer relationship management within targeted customer base.
- Sales Organisation support.
- Conduct Performance discussions with sales staff, explaining critical performance areas (KPA's) and performance indicators (KPI's) as well as behavioural competency requirement.
- New equipment performance attainment.
- Develop and maintain company CRM system.
Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary Education in Sales and Marketing.
- Sales and marketing experience (forklift – 10 years).
- People Management Experience (5 years).
- Technical appreciation and understanding (forklift - 5 years).
- Dealings with customer interactions on a regular basis (5 years).
