We are currently seeking an interim Senior Regional Advertising Producer to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based at Blackfriars on London’s Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube. This is a full-time temporary role to last for 12 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying between £68,000-£75,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working (Monday & Tuesday onsite), subject to adjustment based on business requirements.Background and main job purpose: As one of the world’s largest TV advertisers UL strives to leverage its scale and global expertise to achieve higher standards of quality and efficiency as well as manage advertising production on a more global level. To this end, UL is continuing its development of the European Regional Advertising Production Hub. The Regional Advertising role, based in the London hub, will be responsible for managing advertising production across all brands and all categories in Europe and sometimes globally. The role will also be responsible for supporting the Global Head of Production on all aspects of production strategy, implementation, and related production workstreams. This is an exciting role that provides access to global advertising production, and you will be exposed to production throughout the world not common to many producing roles. This role reports to a Senior European Producer with a dotted line to the Global Head of Production and is part of the global structure. Senior Advertising Producer - Key Accountabilities:Plan and provide solutions to brands teams on all aspects of production - including annual production planningDeliver better planning of asset production, amplification of assets and production workflow processesWork with other Regional Advertising Producers to leverage economies of scale and transfer learning across the worldManage direct production projects as internal producer for brand teamsMaintain and develop creative agency relationships along with third party production, post, sound, talent agency relationshipsMaintain full transparency on all planned advertising production activities (Digital, TV, Print, radio etc)Review all briefs and storyboards in order to assist project leaders in achieving the objectives of the brief within the desired budgetManage the negotiation of all cost estimates with production companies including liaison with UL brand teams and creative agencies whilst maintaining the correct balance between quality and cost.Resolve day to day issues related to last minute changes to advertising productionsAssist with the payment process via the internal buying system and manage spend reconciliationsEnsure transparency on all activities and costs by logging these in the internal management tool and utilisation of internal tools to manage production quotation process and production reportingMonthly reporting and analysisInput and develop global management & best practice for specialist production areas and programs of expertise as allocated by the Global Head of Production.Assist with Global Production & Post-Production Roster Management & quarterly performance reviewRun internal cascades to Brand Team and Agency partnersManage day to day production admin as required by Senior Regional Advertising Producer and Global Head of ProductionExciting opportunities to be involved with industry first initiatives across production innovation, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability behind and in front of the camera Skills / Experience / Qualifications: The applicant will currently be (or have been) a senior Production Company Producer, this could be in commercial advertising production or long form production, post production producer, or Creative Agency ProducerMust be conversant in the related areas of talent, licensing, production insurance, music and all aspects of film/video/stills production.This is a specialist role and requires experience and understanding of all methods of production and knowledge of new production innovation.Experience leading strategic production development and ability to write strategic papers and develop guidance and policies.Good analytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesStrong commercial abilityData analysis experienceExcellent communication skills (including excellent spoken and written English is essential), other European languages advantageousExcellent negotiation skillsCompetencies:Organisational awareness Exceptional writing skillsStrong Data analysis skillsTeam commitment Ability to manage a high workload and deliver against demanding timelinesReadiness to learn all facets of complex content creation to expand current experience and knowledgeWillingness to develop strategic influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships across networks including marketing, advertising agencies and third-party suppliers (especially advertising production companies)Additional InformationBlackfriars working environment:Iconic location on the Victoria embankment, modern working environment Short walk from Blackfriars stationStaff shop discounted productsFree tea & coffee facilities Onsite Deli and a restaurant open for breakfast and lunchGym is available for use subscription required.
