Minimum Requirements: - Food Technology or Food Science Degree
- More than 6 years working as a Food Scientist / Technologist
- Proficient with SAP
- Own transport
Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead internal recipe optimization projects to address issues such as raw material reworks, cost reduction, alternative suppliers, and slow-moving stock.
- Facilitate the transfer of recipes from international office to local production sites.
- Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for approval by the team or client, stability, and shelf life testing.
- Assist with the handover of new recipes from R&D department to Production, including coordination across multiple production sites.
- Conduct laboratory testing to optimize recipes, reducing costs and raw material usage
- Independently test recipes and conduct trials to refine formulations.
- Implement and adapt new recipes into production processes.
- Create and maintain accurate product-specific master data in the SAP system.
- Streamline recipes by reducing the number of raw materials.
- Select and optimize raw materials based on cost and sourcing constraints.
- Perform physical, chemical, and visual testing of product developments and applications.
- Conduct stability and shelf life testing to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with the production team on adjusted formulations and assist with recipe handovers.
- Communicate with the sales team as needed to address product-related questions or concerns.
