Purpose of the Job
To provide on-site technical support and assist in the timely supply of correct inks to the print department. Support the customer in other technical and operational requirements. Responsible for the blending of inks to meet customer requirements. You will be required to undertake colour matching, assisting on trials and stock management.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate proofing and colour measurement equipment, produce quality customer proofs.
- Colour Matching to specific standards
- Maximum use of available returns to maintain minimal levels.
- Effective management of site press returns to ensure that where possible both the customer's expectations are met and Sun Chemical's cost benefit is maximised.
- Ensure appropriate data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion, ensure the regular maintenance of all records.
- Formulation and design information on dispense software, time sheets, shift handover reports, traceability information.
- Adhere to safe operating and standard operating procedures.
- Follow all appropriate procedures effectively and perform all appropriate tasks within set time scales and to set standards.
- Using equipment / machinery / instruments safely and effectively within set requirements and procedures to meet area targets.

Our client based in Epping is looking to acquire an experienced In Plant Technician who will be working closely with Customers in one of their sites in Epping. The successful candidate should possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
- Basic secondary education at GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
- Spoken and / or written communication is clear, concise and professional
- Good listener and is easy to approach, demonstrating common courtesy and tact
