Junior Key Account Manager
Seeking a Junior Key Account Manager, who must reside in Rosslyn or be willing to relocate there.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Assume full responsibility for existing client accounts.
- Address and resolve issues/queries and report back to relevant parties.
- Constantly explore opportunities to expand and grow within the existing client base.
- Engage in consultative selling and understand clients' business needs.
- Prepare and manage presentations, proposals, and account plans.
- Meet and exceed defined and assigned sales targets.
- Effectively forecast, plan, implement, and deploy projects for clients.
- Define and adhere to prompt response times and methodologies to client queries.
- Define and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Keep clients informed on all products and services.
- Analyse and map client processes and equipment volume/type flow.
- Update and maintain customer contact details.
- Plan and facilitate client education on new technologies and developments.
- Facilitate training on systems and new technologies/applications.
- Proactively identify issues that may influence a client’s affiliation.
- Investigate competitor activity and explore countermeasures to ensure client retention.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12.
- 3-5 years experience in the Automotive / Logistics / FMCG / Courier Industry.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of all operational activities.
- Analyse the internal and external business environment and create workable solutions.
- Make logical and effective decisions and understand their business impact.
- Express oneself clearly and understandably.
- Influence others and negotiate effectively.
