Job Description
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Developing and leading an efficient sales force.
- Growing strong relationships and profitable share in critical customers and groups.
- Compiling and driving Annual Sales Plans.
- Achievement of Sales KPIs.
- Daily customer management and striving for excellent customer service.
- Managing daily/weekly sales administration.
- Regular customer visits and meetings.
- Attending to customer complaints.
- Driving and coordinating export sales.
- Daily/weekly pallet reconciliation.
- Responsible for market intel and the sales strategy.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Formal sales qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years experience in the FMCG trade.
- Must be able to work in a highly pressured environment.
- Be punctual and able to work overtime.
- Passionate, self-motivated, and performance-driven.
- Strategic planning and administrative skills are essential.
- A team player that has excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be target and deadline driven and manage people effectively.
- Must be computer literate – MS Office.
- Knowledge of export will be an added advantage.
