Internal Sales Administrator at Mpact Plastics Pinetown
An opportunity has opened up at Mpact Plastics Pinetown for an Internal Sales Administrator. This is a multi-faceted role, requiring a high-energy professional with a background in internal sales and customer management. The incumbent will report to the Operations Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Resolve customer complaints related to outstanding purchase orders, price queries, and quality-related issues.
- Update customers on delivery date/time and progress on any query/complaint received.
- Communicate product orders to a third party.
- When required, source alternative providers for example bottle printers or label stickers.
- Manage purchase orders and deliveries of COD customers.
- Transfer goods from an internal location to a valid location.
- Daily interact with the Planning Department to ensure that the product will be available as per the order received.
- Daily interact with Heads of Departments to be made aware of any breakdowns or mould readiness.
- Submit the correct information for product system setup to the Planning department.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
- Required: Completed tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing.
- Required: Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office.
- Required: Working knowledge of customer profiles.
- Preferred: Working knowledge in the Plastic Industry and FMCG.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in an internal sales and/or customer support environment.
