Duties & Responsibilities
- Meeting set sales monthly targets; the candidate is responsible for the set sales targets.
- Seeking and engaging new clients and expanding client base.
- Proven ability to increase sales and customers (New business development).
- Research market to identify and validate proposed new products.
- Tracking distribution and sales performance on a weekly basis with a distributor.
- Processing orders in liaison with the internal sales team quickly and accurately.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 3-5 years’ proven working experience within the Stationery environment, must have worked as a Sales representative preferably in a Stationery supply, distribution and wholesale firm or demonstrable selling FMCG to retail and wholesale.
- Drivers license is required, able to travel in the country and/or neighbouring countries for client call cycle.
- Proven working experience in Key Account Management; listing within the major retail chain stores/wholesalers in South Africa (e.g., Game, Pick n Pay, Shoprite).
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and/or CRM.
