Electrocomp Sales and Engineering Executive
Electrocomp is a national role player in the electronic component distribution industry. We require a dynamic sales and engineering executive with an Electronic Light Current qualification to support and expand our business activities in Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with existing and new customers in the electronic engineering and manufacturing industry.
- Make appointments for daily visits to current and prospective customers to maintain and generate new business.
- Assist design engineers in selecting suitable parts for new designs.
- Identify and offer replacement parts for existing designs to engineers and buyers.
- Research sources and analyze the market for developing new potential customers.
- Organize and plan a personal sales strategy to maximize return and time investment.
- Achieve growth and account penetration by effectively marketing all product lines.
- Manage accurate forecasts and achieve targets.
- Supply management with regular verbal or written reports as to customer potential, prospects, new products, competitive activities, requirements, lost orders, or problems that may arise.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A degree or suitable technical qualification in Electronic Engineering (Light Current).
- Preferably three or more years of experience in the electronic engineering or related sales environment.
- Fully computer literate, MS Office including Excel.
- Good attention to detail and ability to complete projects.
- An aptitude for sales.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Presentable and bilingual.
- Valid drivers licence.
