This is a senior-level position where you will function not only as an Executive Assistant but also as a strategic partner to the CEO. This is an all or nothing role; and one which will require commitment if you are to be successful.Key Responsibilities:Executive Support:Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.Prepare and organise documents for meetings, ensuring the CEO is well-prepared for all engagements.Attend meetings with or on behalf of the CEO, taking minutes and ensuring follow-up on action items.Communication and Coordination:Facilitate effective communication between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and initiatives.Act as a liaison between the CEO and the executive team, ensuring alignment and clarity on priorities.Research and Analysis:Conduct thorough research and analysis on industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities in the energy and finance sectors.Compile reports and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.Presentation and Documentation:Develop, proofread, and enhance high-level presentations, ensuring they are polished and impactful.Draft and review reports, speeches, and other documents, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.Project Management:Assist in the planning and execution of strategic projects, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.Identify potential issues and proactively suggest solutions to keep projects on track.Confidentiality and Discretion:Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.Manage confidential documents and ensure secure storage and handling.Personal Support:Support the CEO with personal tasks and commitments as required, maintaining a balance between professional and personal assistance.Start-Up Environment:Embrace the varied and dynamic nature of a start-up environment, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.Take on additional responsibilities as needed, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.Required Qualifications and Skills:Education: Degree qualified, preferably with an MBA or similar advanced degree.Industry Knowledge: Understanding and experience in the finance, private equity/M&A, or energy industry.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create and enhance presentations and spreadsheets.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, and Spanish is advantageous.Professional Traits: Highly confidential and trustworthy.Professional and respectful demeanour.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Loyal and committed to the long-term success of the CEO and the business.Commercially and business-minded, with drive, initiative and prudence.Well-presented and polished.Confident in dealing with senior business and government figures.
