Direct Report: Centre Manager
Purpose:
To undertake the day-to-day supervision of the Centre, building maintenance, customers, and team members. To implement new ideas to keep improving customer service and business performance through efficient management of the centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the supervision and evaluate work activities of admin, cleaning, Patient Care Consultant staff, and gardener.
- Manage one's own time and the time of others.
- Maintain computerized record management systems (Medical Software) to store and process data such as patient information, and to produce reports (Telephone reports).
- Ensure that all functions pertaining to computers are done timeously, e.g., Daily backups, backup and restore, medprax, month-end procedures.
- Monitor compliance with organisational policies and procedures in the Centre.
- Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability.
- Maintain communication between professionals, staff and patients.
- Maintain awareness of the general condition of the health Centre and work done by service providers.
- Resolve customer complaints by following due process, and answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures.
- Supervise the work of administrative or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
- Identify employee job performance problems to recognize causes and issues, and work on resolving problems.
- Assist in training and instructing employees in job duties and company policies or arrange for training to be provided.
- Conduct discussions pertaining to organisational problems in appropriate forums.
- Report security-related events to contracted security companies and the South African police.
- Adhere to all procedures as laid out in the care consultants SOP, training manual and job description.
- Execute all reasonable instructions given by superior.
- Familiarize with the Company’s policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
- Ensure that Centre reports are done daily.
- Report all maintenance and contractor duties/work on relevant communication platforms and to head of operations.
Qualifications:
- Matric
- ND: Business Management qualification (NQF Level 6)
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- 2-3 years' management experience
- GoodX experience will be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy (MS Packages, PaySpace)
- People Management

- Ability to build professional relationships with doctors and patients to promote patient-doctor interaction.
