Description
The Solutions Consultant is responsible for training, guiding, and providing customers with SYSPRO product and product-related support, ensuring resolution of all issues as required. The Solutions Consultant is tasked with identifying and resolving issues while maintaining SYSPRO standard procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the customer to ensure business-relevant solutions are implemented and maintained, and assist SYSPRO to achieve ALF retention and growth.
- Provide support and/or technical assistance related to the SYSPRO product.
- Facilitate proof of concept and functional specification documentation.
- Prepare quotations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SYSPRO, including server and SQL issues.
- Monitor server resources and ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
- Work closely with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting procedures and system configurations.
- Prepare reports on Technical Assessments and provide feedback to customers.
- Analyze and identify the root cause of issues, recommending and implementing solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SYSPRO updates and industry trends to provide proactive support.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications and Experience
- Senior certificate or NQF 4 equivalent.
- B.Com IT or equivalent IT Qualification.
- PPIM will be advantageous.
- 1-2 years SYSPRO experience.
- SYSPRO LearnIT Qualifications advantageous.
- SYSPRO Certifications advantageous.
- BI and/or SYSPRO Embedded Analytics experience advantageous.
