Purpose:
Responsible for assisting with managing the development and implementation of specific business requirements and projects, aimed at improving the quality, accessibility, and integration of information. Assists with managing the system risks and compliance, as well as ensuring that data integrity, system security and controls are established and upheld.
Experience and Qualifications:
- B Com Informatics/ Information Systems with Accounting essential
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role with business intelligence experience in a professional services environment
- Must have knowledge of VB.net, C#, SQL programming languages.
- Be able to create process designs, technical specifications, implementation plans and user support guides if necessary.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Solutions:
- Assist with implementing integrated system and solutions strategies in response to business needs
- With the assistance and support of the systems analyst design, develop and implement bespoke solutions where appropriate or integrate and customize out of the box solutions
- Assist in identifying and assessing solutions for business process and information problems from the business.
Solution Implementation:
- Identify efficient ways to improve existing processes
- Implementation of customized solutions within the ERP system
- Preparation of the technical documents related to implemented solutions
- Develop and maintain data integration between the ERP and CRM systems
Database Maintenance System:
- Assist with maintaining database performance and functionality by ensuring efficient execution of stored procedures
- Assist with creating and maintaining database queries, timeously and accurately
- Assist with defining the authorization matrix for all users.
Designing Business and Financial Reports:
- Designing dynamic and automated financial reports for business users
- Implementing reports on end user’s machines with appropriate access
- Ensuring customized data integrity of financial reports to business
Technical Support:
- Assisting the support team in the investigation of issues, as well as conducting root cause analyses to identify system vs functional errors
Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain relationships with all individuals below the management level as a trusted advisor
- Maintain strong working relationships with and have open and transparent communication between all members of the team
