We are currently on a search for a Retail Specialist to join the largest manufacturer and distributor of major appliances in Southern Africa, to be based in Durban , Jacobs. The main purpose of the job will be to manage the KZN and PLK brand ambassador sales team as well as roll out and optimize the learning management system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of the KZN and PLK Atomic brand ambassador sales team.
- Achieve Defy, Beko and Grundig monthly / annual regional sales target.
- Conduct a minimum of 16 stores retail store visits per week / 64 visits per month.
- Create and execute monthly marketing plans in key independent retailers to drive sales.
- Submit weekly retail report which contains training execution, activations execution, competitor analysis and performance managing stores that are declining in revenue.
- Project manage Defy, Beko and Grundig stand installations.
- Ensure Defy, Beko and Grundig stands are well maintained.
- Maintain Defy KZN head office showroom.
- Creation and roll out of Defy, Beko and Grundig product training content.
- Host product training sessions with brand ambassadors and external sales staff.
- Creation, ordering and distribution of point of sale material nationally.
- Administrator of Learning Management System (LMS). Optimize, create and upload product training content for both internal (marketing / sales team) and external (brand ambassadors) users
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Senior Certificate or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Drivers Licence.
- Own vehicle
- Computer literate
- 5 years brand representative experience calling on retail stores.
- Product training
- Management and leadership skills.
