Job Profile: Retail Analyst
Position Overview:
As a Retail Analyst is responsible for analyzing retail data to provide insights that drive business decisions. They gather, interpret, and present data related to sales, inventory, market trends, and customer behavior. The role involves working closely with retail management and other departments to optimize product offerings, pricing strategies, and overall store performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data, customer demographics, and market trends to identify business opportunities and risks.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, turnover rates, and product performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
- Provide actionable insights to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and supply chain, to support business goals.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in forecasting sales and inventory needs based on historical data and market trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
