The FMS Maintenance - Technical Lead will provide technical support and quality monitoring on the company's sites, and spot check factory acceptance tests conducted at the offices to ensure that all company products meet consistent quality standards. Duties include developing and implementing quality control tests, visiting sites to conduct audits where company systems are installed, conducting investigations on sites, and providing professional reports to customers and company management.
Main Job Functions (key Performance Areas)
The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Liaise very closely with Software and Technical teams, and ensure consistent collaboration between various teams, including OEMs.
- Be the first point of contact for the company's maintenance technicians regarding technical challenges encountered on sites. Provide consistent technical support to the company's maintenance technicians on site.
- Ensure effective communication to the company's Technicians on new products, upgrades, and software new releases.
- Continuously collate customer feedback in terms of systems features and functionalities and provide such information to the company's Software Leader and Technical Manager.
- Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate the company's products and equipment on site, and the offices.
- Ensure that all company products adhere to minimum quality standards.
- Understand customer and stakeholder requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
- Devise installation and maintenance specifications for the company's products and processes, specifically where the company has maintenance Technicians.
- Monitor the company's Sub-contractor’s maintenance procedures and their compliance with company quality standards.
- Continuously monitor installation and implementation processes and curate in-house quality policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data related to the company's product failures and generate professional reports.
- Provide training on the company's new products to maintenance technicians and new Technicians joining the company.
- Conduct consistent quality inspections and assessments of installation and maintenance techniques on different sites.
- Monitor the frequency of product failures on sites, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure that consistent quality standards are maintained through the entire installation stages on site.
- Perform fault diagnostics and error analysis on company equipment.
- Assist the company's stakeholders with technical advice on company's products.
- Comply with all the company's customer’s rules and regulations such as health and safety and adhere to all safe working procedures.
