Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the tooling industry;
- Service existing customer base;
- Administrate stock holding and paperwork in line with processes;
- Full stock control including but not limited to customer stock maintenance and stock holding to ensure that products are available when needed to meet customer demands, maintain an orderly stockroom, categorize inventory effectively, and follow stock control processes. Well-organized systems contribute to improved inventory accuracy and operational efficiency;
- Adapt quickly and adjust inventory strategies to fluctuations in demand within the carbide tooling industry;
- Cold calling to expand on the existing customer base;
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets;
- Identify and prospect potential customers, cultivating strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions;
- Grow sales volume within the existing customer base;
- Keep all necessary paperwork and records of relevant daily sales activities up to date;
- Devise and work on a detailed plan which needs to be modified and improved to maximize ROI;
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions;
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments;
- Attend monthly/quarterly performance reviews with management to determine progress regarding agreed KPI’s as well as provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management;
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on new opportunities;
- Always portray a professional image of the company.
