Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join their dynamic team. Individuals who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to apply.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quality Controller in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, preferably in brewing
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in using lab equipment and quality control software
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to beer production
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Work in a production environment with exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, and other manufacturing conditions
- Driver's license
Duties Will Include
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards
- Monitor and assess the production processes, identifying and addressing any deviations from quality standards
- Implement and maintain quality control systems, including documentation and record-keeping
- Collaborate with production and brewing teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and update quality control procedures and protocols as needed
- Train production staff on quality control processes and best practices
- Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and recommend corrective actions
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly
- Assist the Production team with daily quality checks
