Our client is looking for a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated IT Sales Consultant who would like to be part of the team.
Purpose Of The Job
To co-ordinate the sales department, support management, and ensure sales quotas are reached. Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To The Following
- Drive the development of business plans including target accounts, marketing strategy and programs to achieve target revenue growth.
- Lead the development of messaging and positioning for customers, including industry positioning and solutions for existing as well as future industry-specific products/solutions.
- Take personal responsibility for supporting the growth and conversion of sales pipelines and revenue via key accounts and operational scale and execution of industry messaging.
- Successfully lead a virtual cross functional team including Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement to develop and execute the strategic marketing/sales plans for industry segments.
- Lead overall messaging, positioning and presence at strategic marketing events.
- Be an effective presenter to large customer audiences.
- Be a thought leader in the industry and evangelize the value of the company.
- Establish executive relationships within key accounts within the Industry segment.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience And Knowledge - Bachelor's degree in the related field (NON NEGOTIABLE).
- Industry Experience: The role requires 5+ years of industry expertise working in and selling into it.
- Must have Sales Management experience.
- Must have sold software solutions.
- Be well versed in overall industry domains and have significant in-depth knowledge and experience in the use of Company solutions in these domains.
- Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines.
- Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and crafting compelling positioning, thought leadership content and sales assets.
- Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence.
- Ability to travel.
