Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor departmental health, safety, environmental and quality aspects.
- Ensure sound and effective financial management.
- Build solid customer and supplier relationships.
- Develop operational dispatch plans aligned to strategic objectives of the Finishing BU.
- Display a passion for performance, maintaining and improving practices and systems to realize organizational goals.
- Provide dispatch-specific support in planning, delivering, and controlling departmental targets.
- Initiate and implement business improvement initiatives.
- Report effectively and efficiently to enable strategic decision-making.
- Oversee logistics and operational planning.
- Maintain a working knowledge of production processes.
- Be proficient with MS Office, MIS, SAP, Shop floor, and Voyager programs.
- Work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrate sound interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit diagnostic and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Understand Mill Safety Standards (Policies & Procedures), OSH Act, and ISO systems.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Operations/Production qualification.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in logistics in a specialist, supervisor, or senior role with specific reference to the related leadership competencies within a heavy manufacturing environment in the Pulp and Paper industry.
