We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive with great client engagement and interpersonal skills to join its dynamic team in the financial services space.
- As a Business Development Executive, you will be accustomed to developing and maintaining effective business relationships with advisors and delivering a proactive service that enhances the image of the company and contributes to the growth and profitability of the retail business unit
- A self-motivated salesperson with a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly investments, who can build strong relationships with financial advisors and consistently achieve sales targets.
Sales and Relationship Building:
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisors (referred to as "advisors" or "IFA base").
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and present effectively.
Financial Services Industry Knowledge:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Business Development Executive in financial services, focusing on investments.
- Possessions of relevant financial services industry qualifications like CFP (Certified Financial Planner).

- A university degree (BCom or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on exceeding client expectations.

- Following up on advisor requests and queries in a timely manner and ensuring service standards are met.
- Presenting to advisors the benefits of the company offering.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure that excellent customer service standards can be met.
- Keeping up to date with competitor products and service offerings.
