The Advertising Sales Manager is responsible to lead, strategize and grow digital advertising/promotions and market research sales for premium direct agencies, advertising partners and clients.
This position aims to drive customer service excellence, foster enduring client relationships, and achieve digital advertising sales targets through effective strategic planning, market analysis and brand championing.
This position will play a crucial role in increasing advertiser interest and favourability, driving sales and increasing revenue, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.
Responsibilities :
Take to Market Sales Strategy
- Develop and define a sales strategy focused on aggressively growing premium ad sales and revenue for direct IO advertising.
Sales Pipeline and Targets
- Effectively grow the overall sales pipeline and achieve or exceed sales targets.
Advertiser Leads and Relationships
- Work closely with the Ignition Media Head to create and maintain an advertiser leads list.
- Develop and build strong relationships with existing and prospective advertisers, agencies, shopper marketers and research houses to foster and expand advertiser loyalty and attract advertising budgets.
Client Collaboration
- Collaborate with clients to understand their brand objectives, KPIs, target audiences, and unique cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
Sales Collateral and Media Kits
- Create and maintain sales collateral, media kits, and proposal templates.
Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and expand opportunities across the broader Ignition group.
Reporting and Analysis
- Regularly report on sales revenue targets, actuals, forecasts, and pipeline.
- Analyze market shifts, seasonality, trends, and competitor landscape.
Audience Monetization Strategy
- Work closely with the Head of Ignition Media to define and build the audience monetization strategy and assist with implementation based on advertiser needs and requirements.
Requirements :
- Energetic self-starter with a footprint within the direct digital advertising and shopper marketing sales environment.
- 3-4 years experience in advertising sales.
- Business/Management or related qualification.
- Commercially savvy with an attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and teach.
- Problem solver.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic teammate.
- Accountability and responsibility in managing own time and achieving team targets.
- Own vehicle with a valid driver's license.
